We fell in love with alpacas in 1999 and started the Flying W Alpaca ranch. Our ranch is located in Sutherlin, Oregon, just 11 miles north of Roseburg on the I-5 corridor.We started with three alpacas and now have a herd of 28 including 2 llamas. Our alpacas became a very valuable part of our lives from the beginning and we have never looked back. We are a full service ranch. We provide customer service before, during and after the sale. We take pride in our customer service.
We have award winning alpacas. The awards have been won in the show ring, spin-offs and fleece shows. Our herd includes Peruvian, Bolivian, Chilean and American Alpacas. Our bloodlines include Hemingway’s Hemi Accoyo Turbo, Pacific Crest’s Accoyo El Nino, 4 Peruvian Pachacuti (Stud Master Male) and Peruvian Passport (a PPervuian Caligula son). In our breeding program the females are consistently bred to superior quality males who have distinguished themselves. We breed for alpacas with a fine dense fiber with long staple length and who are healthy and vigorous. Our alpacas are halter trained, show easily, and will trailer.
Animals offered for sale include: males, females, maidens, yearlings, bred females and package deals. We offer ajisting and stud services. A female purchased from us will receive 2 free breedings for that female to any of our ranch studs. We offer a 5 day live birth guarantee or a free rebreeding. We offer free ajisting for up to 6 months after purchase of any of our animals. The ajisting doesn’t include veterinary visits or any medications. It does include all normal care we would give to our own animals.
We have a ranch boutique that sells alpaca products should you be looking for a special gift for yourself or a special person. Some of the products for sale include: rugs, placemats, clothing, socks, gloves, hats, scarves, fiber, yarn, alpaca stuffed animals and other gift items. We would live to share with you the personal benefits that can be reaped from raising these gentle, curious animals. The ranch and boutique are open 7 days a week.
